Arsenal’s versatile attacker Leandro Trossard reportedly changed his agent while searching for a move to Turkish giant Fenerbafe.
That’s according to a Sozcu report that says that Trossard’s previous agents were not enthusiastic about negotiations with Fenerbahce.
However, the new representative of Torosad appears to have good ties with the Turkish club as Belgian International is about to show this particular move.
But if Arsenal lets go of Torosad, that would be a bit surprising as he appears ready to play at the high levels of the Premier League and Champions League.
Torosad played 56 games in all club competitions last season, scoring 10 goals in total, but at 30 years old, this is a good opportunity for gunners to win cash for him.
Leandro Trossard could be heading towards the Arsenal exit
As Sozcu also points out, Trossard is in the final year of his Arsenal contract, so it’s not so surprising that he’s interested as clubs like Fenerbahce may feel the opportunity to bargain.
Sozcu claims Fenerbahce is ready to offer Trossard’s big money on a three-year deal, and is probably at the stage where the former Brighton man struggles to get such an offer elsewhere.
However, this was a position that was definitely a bit of a light last season, and it looks a bit dangerous for Arsenal as it requires a lot of money to invest in new offensive players.
Who can replace Arsenal’s Torosad?
Arsenal appears to be scrutinizing the market for offensive players on the left, as Real Madrid forward Rodrigo goes.
Athletic, meanwhile, is also one of the shops to cover Arsenal’s interest in Chelsea’s Noni Madueke, and perhaps could have played a role on the left side of Mikel Arteta’s front three, even if he was normally playing on the right.
