Arsenal is interested in signing Leicester City midfielder Bilal El Cannas at the end of the season.
According to TBR Football, the player was able to impress Arsenal with his performance and aim to make a move for him in the coming weeks.
Leicester City has been relegated to the championship, and the younger midfielder may want to stay on top flight. Arsenal was able to offer him the opportunity.
The opportunity to join one of the largest clubs in the country is extremely exciting for him. Arsenal has been doing well over the years to groom talented young players and has also been able to play an important role in his development.
Arsenal needs midfield depth
The 20-year-old is versatile enough to operate in the central midfielder, offensive midfielder and wide area.
The technically talented midfielder will help create goalscoring opportunities for teammates and add ingenuity to Arsenal’s midfield.
Bilal El Khannouss is a player in demand
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal can secure a contract to sign players. They have the resources to obtain a contract on an ongoing basis. Meanwhile, they will face competition between Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United. They also keep tabs on talented young midfielders. And it will be interesting to see if they have decided to put forward an offer to sign him in the coming weeks.
Leicester certainly hopes that more clubs will come for players as competition is intensified due to his services. More competition for players could lead to a bid war.
The players have shown he is enough to play in the Premier League and were impressed by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola earlier this season. It’s not yet known where he will end.
