Aston Villa is interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez during the summer window, according to sports.

A report by SportWitness claims Aston is already in contact with potential moves. Chelsea recently submitted an offer for Lopez.

The 22-year-old has been highly regarded in Europe and has proven to be a great long-term investment for the club. They will need more creativity and technical capabilities in the final third, and Lopez will be a solid acquisition.

Manchester United are also passionate about the Barcelona star.

Lopez adds goals and creativity to the sides. He also helps Aston Villa control the lawsuit in the middle of the park. He can run in ten roles, similar to the central midfielder. He has a technical attribute that will do well in the Premier League and could become a key player at Aston Villa.

The West Midlands Club is looking for qualifying for the Champions League next season, and needs quality players. It remains to be seen whether they can convince Barcelona to sell an incredible young talent like Lopez.

The midfielder scored eight goals last season and scored 10 assists along the way.

Lopez can only be improved through coaching and experience, and he could be an excellent long-term investment for Aston Villa. If you want to compete with an elite club, you need to buy a quality player. It remains to be seen whether they can convince the midfielders to join them.

A report from the sports claims that Lopez is not going to force him to be evicted from Barcelona. He recently won a league title with a Spanish club and is trying to keep pushing the main trophies with them.

It is fair to assume that Aston Villa may have to put a considerable financial effort into turning its head. It is still unknown how the situation will develop.
