Chelsea is interested in signing Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers in the coming months.
According to a TBR Football report, Joe Shields wanted to sign a player during the summer transfer period, but the move didn’t come true. Chelsea has a great interest in him, they are ready to return for him in the future, and it remains to be seen whether they will be able to make the deal.
Tottenham wanted to sign players this summer too.
Morgan Rogers is an elite talent
The 23-year-old is one of the league’s best young offensive players and was a standout for Aston Villa last season. The players scored 14 goals and scored 16 assists in all competitions. He was able to prove that it was a great long-term investment for Chelsea. The Blues need to continue improving their teams to compete with elite clubs, and signing one of the nation’s best young players is a wise decision. He is likely an expensive acquisition, and it remains to be seen how the situation will develop.
Can Chelsea sign Rogers?
The Shields have known players well since his days at Manchester City, and it will be interesting to see if he can take players to Chelsea now. The opportunity to move to London is also extremely exciting for the players. It was a big step in his career and he could play for one of the largest clubs in the country. Chelsea have recently been able to win two trophies, and I am drawn to the idea of any player joining them. Rogers can fulfill his ambitions on his move to the London Club.
It remains to be seen whether Chelsea can convince Aston Villa to sell its players in the coming months. It’s fair to assume they don’t want to weaken the team this season. Therefore, no matter what movement you move, you may have to wait until next summer.
