Chelsea striker Nicholas Jackson has linked his move away from the club this summer, and they will be open to selling him.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the player is no longer in control at the club, and Chelsea is exploring a future without him.
Chelsea needs an upgrade
Juventus and Napoli are keen to sign players, with both clubs enquiring about potential moves. He is also linked to Aston Villa.
It’s not yet known where he will end. Jackson had mixed spells in Chelsea up until now, but there’s no doubt that Bruce would need him an upgrade. They want to fight for major trophies and need the best players.
They signed Liam Dellup this summer, and they need another experienced striker to complement him. It is still unclear whether Jackson can be replaced with a reliable finisher.
Nicholas Jackson needs a new start
The Senegalese striker was criticized for his inadequate performance with Flamengo at the Club World Cup. He disappointed his team, and his performance was not spectacular either. He scored just 13 goals last season.
Perhaps a fresh start would be ideal for former LA La Liga attackers. It remains to be seen whether he is open to moving to Italian football in the summer. Naples and Juventus are one of the largest clubs in the world, and the option to join them may be exciting for players.
Chelsea hopes to get a substantial amount back for the players if they decide to sell him. He scored 15 goals in all competitions last season. There is no doubt that he has the quality to thrive in Italy. And we still don’t know where he will end.
