Manchester United will be interested in signing Valencia midfielder Jabi Guerra this summer.
However, they were hit hard by the 22-year-old Spanish central midfielder pursuit. Valencia is now approaching securing a contract with the players on a new contract. They agree to triple his wages and the New Deal will keep him at the club until 2029, according to Marca.
Man United needs someone like Guerra
It will be interesting to see if Manchester United have decided to put forward a proposal to get the deal done. They had to sign a quality central midfielder, and the 22-year-old could have been an ideal acquisition. He adds control, calm and technical capabilities to the middle of the park.
Guerra has been highly praised in Spanish football and he is a promising young talent with a bright future. He has all the attributes to develop into a future star, and he may have been a Manchester United player. It is still unknown how the situation will develop. Manchester United certainly has more financial resources than Valencia. They were able to offer him a better contract and an opportunity to compete at a higher level in the Premier League.
Can Man United sign Javi Guerra?
Previously there were rumours that Manchester United had agreed to the player. However, they have not yet submitted official offers to the LA Liga club. If they want to save the movement, they need to act quickly.
Manchester Manchester United need a quality signature to bounce back hard. They were pretty mediocre in recent seasons and they couldn’t compete for the big trophies. Signing up for young elite talents like Guerra will be a step in the right direction for them.
