Tottenham Hotspur was offered the opportunity to sign Jadon Sancho by Manchester United.
Winger has no future in Old Trafford and links with multiple clubs. He had loaned out at Chelsea last season, but had the option to sign in forever this summer. But Bruce opposed it. Sancho is currently linked to travel to Italy.
Sancho wants premium wages
According to TBR Football, his wages could be a major issue for clubs hoping to sign him. He earns £300,000 a week at Manchester United and no club is willing to pay such a thing.
He was offered to Tottenham as he was trying to improve his attacking unit. There is no doubt that Sancho could be a useful acquisition for them, but his wages will complicate the potential move. It will be interesting to see if players are willing to take pay cuts to ensure they move from Manchester United.
Jadon Sancho might be a useful option
The 25-year-old scored five goals and earned 10 assists on loan at Chelsea last season. He has quality that helps to improve Tottenham too. Given the situation at Manchester United, he could be used for a reasonable amount. They are desperate to get rid of the players. However, players must be reasonable in their wage demands for the movement to pass.
If the Spurs can bring out the best of him, they can have incredible assets in their hands. He was considered a world-class talent during his time in Germany. However, the transition to the Premier League has not gone well for him. It remains to be seen whether he will bounce back hard and return to his best again.
