Nice are open to allowing him to leave, but hope he remains at the club until the end of the season. It will be interesting to see whether the two clubs can quickly agree on a contract.
The 21-year-old defender is reportedly open to a move, with a five-year deal being discussed between the player and his agent. He could earn €2.5 million per season at the English club.
Oppong is a talented and promising player who could develop into an important player for Everton. They need more quality and depth in their defensive unit. They looked vulnerable at the back but need to tighten up if they want to compete at the highest level.

Everton need a player of Oppong’s quality.
Everton have been battling relegation for the past few seasons and will continue to look to improve. We will aim for top half finishes on a regular basis. To achieve that, we need to improve our team.
Meanwhile, regular football in England could be ideal for the 21-year-old Ghanaian. It will be a big opportunity for him and he will want to prove himself in England. He has the physicality to thrive in the Premier League and playing regular football in England will help him reach his full potential.
Everton have been successful in developing young players over the years and they could play a key role in Oppong’s development.
