Chelsea isn’t enthusiastic about Mark GuechGuehi improves both teams

Chelsea will not view Mark Guech as their key target and head for the January transfer period.

The player is deeply connected to his travels away from Crystal Palace and will become free agents at the end of the season. Liverpool tried to sign the player during the summer transfer period, but the move did not pass.

Chelsea isn’t enthusiastic about Mark Guech

He links with multiple clubs, but Chelsea is less keen to follow the team talk and bring him back to the club. It is no secret that they need defensive depth on the flanks. Levi Colwill missed most of the season with ACL damage, and Benoit Badiashile just returned from a long spell on the bystanders. Chelsea had to close in the back, and the 25-year-old British would have been a quality addition.

He knows the club well and may have made an immediate impact as he walked through the academy. He is a reliable performer in the Premier League and can improve Chelsea defensively.

Signing a player of his abilities in a bargain can be difficult to refuse. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool’s offer to get the deal back in January. The 25-year-old is at the peak of his career and he will want to play for a big club. Chelsea and Liverpool are some of the attractions for him. Both clubs need quality defenders, and there’s no doubt that the British will be a solid option for them.

It will be interesting to see if Chelsea change their stance and make a move for him when the transfer window reopens in January. There’s no doubt they can use him, and the 25-year-old could be an ideal fit.
