Newcastle is paying attention to Randall Koro Muani as a possible replacement for Alexander Isaac, according to reports from Italy.
The club recently claimed victory at the Carabao Cup, their first national trophy since 1955, but many of the talks now are about whether their star striker will be there during the next season.
Isaac has been Newcastle’s best striker since Alan Shearer and, of course, he’s been attracting the attention of top clubs. Arsenal and Liverpool are both enthusiastic and Newcastle is not going to sell, but missed Champions League football can at least consider a blockbuster work.
“If you’ve ever thought about doing something like that again, your backside will come out to that door before touching the ground!” – What is the former Man UTD star who was almost kicked out by Fergie?
Newcastle hasn’t taken a chance. If ISAK moves ahead, they already line up potential alternatives, with Viktor Gyokeres and Hugo Ekitike both on Eddie Howe’s shortlist. Currently, Randal Kolo Muani has emerged as an option, according to Calciomercato.
The French striker joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023, becoming massive for 85 million euros, but struggled to make an impact. A loan move to Juventus in January gave him a fresh start, with him scoring five goals in his first three games and running.
Randal Kolomuani is in a “crisis” in Juventus before summer comes
Such a form sparked the story of Juventus making his movement permanent or extending his loan, but his goal has since dried up. He hasn’t found the net for over a month. Reports from Gazzetta Dero Sports suggest that he is now “in crisis.”
Despite his struggle, Juventus boss Tiago Motta continued to support him, even before Dusan Vlahovich. However, with Italians increasing pressure and Juventus exploring other attack options, Victor Osimchen is the dream signature, and it is not certain that Koro Muani will remain in Turin more than in the summer.
If Motta is fired, the 26-year-old may be reluctant to stick to his surroundings.
