Leeds United are looking to improve their offensive units at the end of the season, identifying Troy Parrott as a potential target.
According to a team talk report, they want to sign the former Tottenham striker at the end of the season.
Leeds has secured promotion to the Premier League and will need to improve their teams during the summer transfer period. Signing a quality attacker can prove to be a wise decision.
Troy Parrott is a quality signature
The 23-year-old is doing very well for Az Alkmaar, a Dutch outfit. He has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season, with five assists along the way.
The opportunity to return to England can be extremely exciting for Parrott. It remains to be seen whether Leeds United will be able to make the deal.
The Dutch costume paid around 8 million euros to sign the players, and he has signed a contract with them until 2029. If Leeds United makes a call in the summer, they will ask for a fair amount.
Leeds requires quality signatures
Leeds hopes to establish himself as a regular in the Premier League and will need to improve his team during the summer transfer period to survive relegation next season.
Signing quality strikers is one of their priorities. Meanwhile, Patrick Bamford is expected to leave Leeds United in the summer, and Parrot could be the ideal alternative.
The 23-year-old is still relatively young and has been able to improve even further through his coaching and experience. Premier League regular football can bring out the best in players. It will be interesting to see if Leeds will be able to close the deal in the coming weeks.
