Liverpool is preparing for large spending during the summer transfer and could be open to selling players like Lewis Diaz and Darwin Nunes.
According to Football Insider, they are ready to sell Lewis Diaz for a fee of around £60 million in the summer. They have been in contract consultations with South American attackers, but will be willing to accept a favorable proposal for him.
Saudi club Al-Nassr is keen to secure his signature and will be interesting to see if he has decided to submit a considerable offer to him in the coming weeks.
The report alleges that Liverpool has identified five key areas that they want to improve during the summer transfer period. They want to bring in a left back, right back, holding midfielder and centre back.
Liverpool also wants to sign a quality striker, but that will depend on the sale of Nunes first.
So far, it has been an impressive season for Liverpool and could win a league title. However, they have low performance in the Champions League domestic trophies. They will be eager to make compensation next year, and they will need to bring about quality signatures for it to happen.
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool can remove fringe players in the summer.
Lewis Diaz is an important player
Meanwhile, Diaz has been a key player for Liverpool since joining the club, having 15 goals for his name this season. He got eight assists along the way. Liverpool will need to properly replace him if they decide to sell a player.
South America, which costs £55,000 a week, has linked several clubs in recent months, and it’s still unclear where he will end.
