Liverpool are ready to sell Dio Gojota during the summer transfer period, according to TBR Football.
Portugal International has not been at its best in this past season. It’s no surprise that he’s on the club’s consumables list.
Liverpool will need to improve their offensive units during the summer transfer period, ideally removing fringe players.
Jota is a useful player
While there is no doubt that Portugal International is a quality player, he has struggled with persistent injuries since joining the club. It would be ideal for Liverpool to move him and bring in a younger player with more possibilities and better availability records.
Jota has been a very useful player for Liverpool since joining the Wolf Club. He was labelled “the complete package” by former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool needs to replace Diogo Jota
While he has certainly helped Liverpool with attacks over the years, it’s time for the two political parties to go their separate ways. Liverpool will need to build a team for the future, and Jota is simply an unreliable option for them at this stage due to his fitness concerns.
Furthermore, his performance has been overwhelming in this past season. The player has nine goals for his name in all competitions, and he has won four assists along the way. However, Liverpool needs a better player on offense if they want to consistently win major trophies.
It will be interesting to see if they can bring in dynamic attackers like Jota during the summer transfer period. Portugal International can operate across the front three, and his versatility makes him an asset to the club. It is still unknown how the situation will develop.
