Liverpool is reportedly among the clubs circling for the potential transfer of Aston Villa defensive midfielder Boubakar Kamala.
France International shines between in Villa Parks, and as summer approaches, there appears to be uncertainty in his situation.
Kamala is considered a key player in the villa, and TBR Football reports claim that Unai Emery’s part had initial contact about the possibility of a new deal for the 25-year-old.
Still, it is said that Liverpool and other top clubs are keeping an eye on the situation in Kamala and that this could be an exciting market opportunity.
Liverpool is already pretty strong in the middle, but it may be worth bringing in Kamala as a potential upgrade for Wataru End and Curtis Jones.
Boubacar Kamara Transfer: Could Aston Villa be forced to sell?
The TBR Football report suggests that there is optimism among villa sources about being able to hold Kamala.
Still, I’ve seen Midland outfits sell celebrities before. Douglas Lewis left the club last summer for Juventus.
Back further, Villa had to sell Jack Glaishe to Manchester City for a big buck.
So, Emery has done a great job with this team, so it’s not too far ahead to see Villas seeing their key players poached by bigger clubs.
It will be interesting to see how this saga develops, but if Liverpool is actually available it can work to hit Kamala.
