Liverpool attacker Darwin Nunes has linked his move away from the club in recent months, with Uruguay International expected to move ahead in the summer.
The 25-year-old attacker has failed to meet expectations since the big money from Benfica moved, and was linked to the exit in January. According to GivemeSport, the player had already agreed to personal terms with the Saudi club in January, but Liverpool decided to hold onto him.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed that players will leave in the summer, unless there is a big surprise. South American strikers were unable to produce goods. It’s the right time for Liverpool to cash him out and bring him an upgrade. It will be interesting to see if you can sign a trustworthy striker.
They have missed clinical presence in advance and have recently linked to multiple players. Nunez is still a quality player, but his decisions in front of the goal leave much to be desired. South America contributes 14 targets in all competitions. He proved to be a quality player on the right team.
Liverpool can get back the kind of money they paid the striker and they rarely have to accept the losses in him. It is still unknown that the situation is occurring.
Liverpool needs a Darwinnes upgrade
Improve your attacking units is a summer priority. They are overly dependent on Mohamed Sarah. Apart from the front of the high-quality center, they should aim to sign dynamic attackers who can be slotted anywhere on the frontline.
Meanwhile, Nunes tries to get his career back on track with regular football at another club, and he tries to regain his shape and confidence.
