Liverpool reportedly has Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez one of his top priorities for the upcoming summer transfer period.
Argentina International has been world class at Atletico this season, and previously showed many possibilities as a team player for Manchester City.
Alvarez’s form has really exploded since his move to Spain, but the 25-year-old Pekki has scored an impressive record of 32 goals and three assists in all club and country competitions this season.
According to Fitches, Liverpool is ready to do anything to land Alvarez.
Julian Alvarez’s move will again favour Liverpool’s title
Signatures like Alvarez this summer, who just won the Premier League title, will be some statements from Liverpool.
The Reds already have world-class Mohamed Sarah under attack, but Luis Diaz, Cody Gakupo and Diogo Jota are not bad supporters.
If they had Alvarez instead of Nunez, it would be a major upgrade, making it virtually impossible for anyone to stop returning to Anfield for the second season in a row.
Will Julian Alvarez return to the Premier League?
Alvarez already showed what he could do in British football, even if he was always behind Erling Haaland in the order of pecking, and was shining for Man City.
Alvarez imagines himself eager to return to the Premier League to prove his point to his previous club.
It appears City may have made the mistake of letting go of him, but if he fired rival Liverpool for another title, and perhaps a few other major trophies, it would really hurt them.
