Manchester United is reportedly looking for a surprise deal to sign racing genre striker Torua Arocodare, who won the Belgian professional league scoring chart in the 2024/25 season.

According to a report by United In Focus, Red Devils has added the 24-year-old Nigerian to his growth list for offensive targets during the summer transfer.

United have linked to many well-known forwards, including Victor Osimhen, Dusan Vlahovich and Jonathan David, but they also look to bargain options.

Arokodare is reportedly one of several names being considered as a backup or rotation option.

But despite being less known than some of his contemporaries, the number of Arocodare speaks volume.

The 6’6-inch forward scored GENK’s 17 league goals last season, finishing as the top scorer on Belgian top flights, earning 23x nets in all competitions.

His shape has not been overlooked, and some of Europe’s top clubs are looking at him.

He is tall, physical and athletic, offering a different dimension than current forwards like Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.

Furthermore, his relatively low forwarding rating makes him, compared to other unified targets
Low risk options in the market.

If signed, he is not expected to lead the line every week, but could be developed as a useful team player.

Fans may want to sign Marquee, but Arokodare could be a useful team player who can prove to be a correctly developed team player for Red Devils.

Genk’s head coach Thorsten Fink praised Arokodare for calling him a “top striker.”

As far as United’s interest in Urahovic is concerned, attackers are demanding a high wage package to move to Old Trafford.
