Manchester United attacker Antony has linked to a permanent exit from the club at the end of the season, and Atletico Madrid will be willing to offer him an exit route.
The 25-year-old is currently on loan at Real Betis and he does very well in his Spanish outfit. The Brazilian has four goals and four assists in 13 matches.
Prior to that, he had produced just 12 goals and five assists for Manchester United in 96 appearances. Obviously, he has enjoyed playing football in Spain and has rediscovered his shape.
According to Fichage, Atletico Madrid wants to sign the player and can offer a package of around 75 million euros (£64 million) to close the transaction. They can offer a fixed 45 million euros with add-ons worth around 30 million euros.
The report claims Antony is enjoying his time in La Liga, and he wants to stay there forever. It’s fair to assume Manchester United won’t get in his way. He is very overwhelming for the English club and they are trying to reduce the losses of players. If they can reclaim 75 million euros for him, that would be a huge boost for Manchester United as they head into the summer transfer window.
It’s a fair amount and helps them improve their team. Meanwhile, the players are also linked to Arsenal.
Antony was able to fantasize about Atletico Madrid’s moves
Meanwhile, the player has rediscovered his shape and the sharpness of Laliga, and the opportunity to move to Atletico Madrid is extremely exciting. They were one of the largest clubs in the country and were able to provide him with a platform to fight for titles and national trophies.
Antony can work with world-class managers like Diego Simeone.
