Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Bayer Leverkusen’s Erik Ten Hag, according to Stretty News.
Hojlund has not been able to find his best form since joining Atalanta’s Man UTD in the summer of 2023.
Danish International is still praised by his old manager, Ten Hag, as Dutch tacticians insist on working with him again.
It is still unclear whether this will happen, as Hojlund also hopes. Catch off side Last week’s column.
Can Erik Ten Hag take Man United Duo to Bayer Leverkusen?
Ten Hag worked with Hojlund at United, where he struggled to make the most of him, but the 22-year-old probably would get a better chance at Bundesliga.
Ten Hag might also be eager to meet Alejandro Garnacho, as reported in both Fabrizio Romano and Mark Brus. Catch off side.
Offloading one or two of the attacking players that the Red Devils struggle with this summer could certainly help.
Matheus Cunha has already joined United from the wolf, and Bryan Mbeumo could be next door to move to Old Trafford.
What did Rasmus Hojlund say about his future?
From what Hojlund publicly said, he doesn’t seem desperate to get out of unity, but of course the decision is not everything.
“I am on a contract until 2030, so I look forward to playing for Manchester United, I look forward to going for the summer holidays, and I am completely dedicated to the ongoing projects.
“I know I don’t get much from reading things. I know what the facts are. That means I’m signing with Manchester United until 2030. I’m hoping to play there, so I’m preparing for summer break and hopefully it’s a good preseason.”
