Manchester United are planning an ambitious move to sign Barcelona attacker Rafina this summer.
The Brazilian winger was an exception to the Spanish champion last season, and he was one of the best players in the world. According to Fitches, Manchester United has made an offer of 150 million euros to the table.
He scored 34 goals last season and also scored 25 assists. Rafina may just win the Ballon d’Or.
It will be interesting to see if Barcelona decides to accept the offer. This proposal certainly surprised the club’s class. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are also linked to him.
Is Rafina set to return to the Premier League?
The Brazilian has previously played in the Premier League with Leeds United, and he was outstanding to them. There’s no doubt he can transform Manchester United with his attack. You need a dynamic attacker like Rafina. Raphinha can slot into multiple offensive roles and chip with goals and creativity. He is capable of playing for the world’s biggest club, and Manchester United will do well to secure his signature.
The 28-year-old attacker is one of the best attackers in the world and it remains to be seen whether he is accepting to join the club without UEFA Champions League football next season. He would want to compete at the highest level and win major trophies.
Can Man United persuade Brazilians?
Manchester United has been experiencing a period of reconstruction and they may not be an attractive destination for him. Meanwhile, he just won the league title at Barcelona and reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League last season. They are regularly in a position to fight for large trophies.
It would be surprising that he decided to leave the Spanish club this summer.
That being said, Barcelona has been experiencing financial difficulties, and it may be difficult for players to turn down 150 million euros. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
