Manchester United reportedly began a discussion this summer with Southampton, who works to secure a deal for highly rated youth Tyler Diling.
The 19-year-old England Under-19 International enjoys a groundbreaking season at St. Mary’s, turning his eyes with performances and interest from several Premier League clubs.
While West Ham is believed to be preparing a bid for Diling, Tottenham is also keen to sign a talented midfielder. However, Givemesport says United is now in their move and will discuss cooperation with Southampton as they try to finalise the agreement.
“I received an offer from Arsenal, but came out of a strange meeting with Arsen Wenger.”
Reuben Amorim’s side has been monitoring Diling for several months and is impressed by his development and is now stepping up his pursuit by engaging in negotiations with Southampton.
Diveri is widely expected to leave Southampton at the end of the season, with a contract signed until 2026. Manchester United views him as a valuable addition and is keen to secure his signature if the deal makes economic sense.
The Red Devils were recently defeated by sports CP Wonderkid Geovany Quenda to Chelsea.
The teenager has made 30 appearances in all competitions this season and scored four goals.
Man United is preparing for a massive squad change for the upcoming season
United pushes to sign the dibrib, but they are also expected to say goodbye to both Marcus Rashford and Antony forever. Both players left the loan in January, with Rashford joining Aston Villa and Antony, moving to Real Betis, both of which will not return to Old Trafford in the long run.
Rashford’s strong performance at Villa Park won him a recall for the English team, but Antony found his form in Spain. However, United are planning a summer overhaul and sees both departures as the necessary steps to rebuild their team.
