Manchester United is reportedly interested in signing Bournemouth attacker Antoine Semegno at the end of the season.
According to Fichajes, the 25-year-old has been attracting attention from the Red Devils with his performance this season, costing him around 45 million euros (£38 million). The report claims Manchester United is willing to pay him such money. It remains to be seen whether they will move forward with an official offer signing the players.
The player is also on Arsenal radar.
Man United’s move may be attractive
Semeño has proven his quality with Cherry in the Premier League and has been able to take the next step in his development. Joining a big club will allow him to improve even further and fight for the trophy. Manchester United need more quality and depth in the wider region, and Ghana International is the ideal acquisition. He is versatile enough to operate anywhere across the front 3, chipping in with goals and creativity.
He has 11 goals and seven assists this season.
The player is entering the peak period of his career, and this may be the right time for him to join a big club. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs will be able to formulate a deal that will benefit both of them.
Antoine Semegno will be a good investment
If Manchester United signed him for 45 million euros, it could prove to be a sensible investment. The player was a proven performer in the Premier League and was able to hit the ground running through Old Trafford.
Manchester United have looked mediocre on offense this season. If you want to fight for a major trophy next year, you’ll need a quality addition. It’s a disappointing season for them, and they are set to finish in the lower half of the table. However, they still have the opportunity to win the UEFA Europa League and would be a positive end to the season if they could win the trophy.
