Manchester United reportedly expressed interest in negotiating a potential euro 40 million transfer move for Napoli midfielder Stanislav Lobotka.
Slovak International shines during the Serie A era and was previously impressed by former Laliga club Seltavigo.
Can you see Lobotka trying his luck in the Premier League? Man Utd appears to have a 30-year-old radar before summer.
That’s according to a report by Tuttomercatoweb, which suggests that Paris Saint-Germain is keen on Lobotca after an impressive performance.
Lobotka was a key player in Napoli, but he never got younger and the club appears to be open to changing that area of the pitch.
According to a report from TMW, this could be Napoli’s last chance to win a large amount of money for Lobotka, which appears to have alerted Man Utd and PSG.
Should Manchester United sign Stanislav Lobotka?
Lobotka is definitely a great player, but MUFC needs to aim for a bit younger to reconstruct this struggling aspect well.
Reuben Amorim’s strict style play certainly requires a high level of fitness, which could mean a different kind of profile than Lobotka.
But at the same time, United must be open to a variety of possibilities as they have low performance this season. This could limit what you can do in the transfer market.
If Lobotka is actually available for a reasonable price of around 40 million euros, then United may feel they can work for them for a year or two.
The Red Devils are keen to build it in the long term, but there may be exceptions to the rules. They also don’t want a youthful, inexperienced team, which turns out to be a bit of a problem for Chelsea these days.
