Newcastle United are not expected to file an offer to sign FC Porto striker Sam Agehaher.
Football insiders claim they are eager to bring in quality strikers, and are now talking about an offer from the 21-year-old. The offer can be filed imminently and it will be interesting to see if Porto is ready to let him leave. They are afraid to lose him.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are also linked to Agehoe.
Samu Aghehowa is the outlook for elite
The Spanish striker has been outstanding since moving to Portugal, and he has proven to be a great acquisition of Newcastle. They are expected to lose Alexander Isaac this summer, and the swallowtails will become the ideal long-term alternative to Swedish international. The 21-year-old has physical and technical attributes that will do well in British football. If he joins them, he could become a key player in the Magpies. However, Porto is not under pressure to sell him, so Newcastle has to offer a substantial amount of money to get the deal done.
They’ve previously failed to sign players like Hugo Ekitique and Benjamin Shesico, so it’ll be interesting to see if they can secure a Spanish striker before the windows close. They can’t expect to head into a new season without a reliable scorer. If Isak leaves the club, finding the top striker will be a priority.
Aghehowa is a quality signature
The 21-year-old centre forward has the attribute that will develop into a top-class player, scoring 27 goals in all competitions last season. Newcastle was able to care for him as a future star. They can provide him with Champions League football next season with a talented team. Spanish strikers could be seduced by the idea of joining them this summer. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
