Manchester United are about to sign a quality goal scorer this summer after securing the service of Matheus Cunha.
The Brazilian is expected to complete the big-name move to Manchester United in the summer, but the Red Devils want to bring another attacker. It is still unknown who they will become. Cunha’s cost is set to be around £62.5 million.
According to a report from Football Insider, they are looking to incorporate upgrades to Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund this summer. It will be interesting to see if two quality attackers can be signed before the window closes.
It’s a disappointing season for them and they’ll look like they’ll bounce back hard. Ideally, there are two quality attackers.
Man United hopes for more support from Mateus Cunha
Cunha is a dynamic attacker that can be manipulated in multiple roles. He adds creativity, talent and goals aside. Manchester United aims to advance a reliable centre to support him in the offense.
Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in the UK and is expected to compete for a massive trophy next year. They need to insert their team’s weaknesses to do well. Improvement of attack units should be a top priority for them. They looked toothless on the offense this season, and the two quality attackers were able to make a big difference in the final third. They have a very good team bone and some intelligent additions in the summer can change them.
Meanwhile, Cunha will try to make his mark with a big club next year, and it will be interesting to see if he can help Manchester United win the trophy. He is outstanding for the wolves this season and has the ability to succeed at the highest level.
