Chelsea are interested in signing Brentford attacker Brian Mbemo at the end of the season and could face competition with Manchester United.

According to a Fichajes report, they are willing to file an offer of 60 million euros to sign the 25-year-old Premier League star. Mbeumo has 18 goals and six assists to his name in the Premier League this season, making him a standout for Brentford. He has been praised by Thomas Frank for being “unplayable.”

It’s no surprise that the top teams are about to sign players in the summer.

Chelsea needs Brian Mbeumo

He was able to prove that it was an exceptional acquisition for Chelsea if they could get the deal done. The 25-year-old is versatile enough to operate anywhere across the Front 3, adding targets and creativity to Chelsea’s offense.

The Blues have been overly dependent on Cole Palmer this season, allowing them to use more depth on the side. Mbeumo was able to score goals and share the creative burden with Palmer.

The opportunity to join one of the largest clubs in the country is also extremely exciting for players. Chelsea were able to provide him with a platform to compete in the Champions League next season and fight for the trophy.

Mbeumo is entering the peak era of his career and he will want to compete at the highest level.

Meanwhile, we have previously made it clear that Manchester United also wanted to sign players, and they are ready to submit an offer to him. There’s no doubt that we need dynamic attackers like Mbeumo. It will be interesting to see if he can beat Chelsea with his signature.

Brentford certainly hopes that interest from multiple clubs will lead to players auctions and will recover the most money for him.
