Marseille attacker Louis Henrique has been linked with Manchester United for the past few weeks.
The 23-year-old has been very successful in League One this season, scoring nine goals and earning 10 assists in all competitions.
According to TBR Football, Manchester United are inquiring with players.
Lewis Henrique Snubs Man United
Inter Milan moved forward with the approach for him and Henrique decided to join them now. The players were intrigued about the possibility of moving to the Premier League before that.
The development comes as a hit for Manchester United and it remains to be seen whether they have decided to move for another player. They are linked to Brian Mbemo, who plays in a similar position.
It’s no secret that Manchester United will need to improve their attack forces this summer. They were pretty mediocre and had made progress last season. And if they want to do well next season, they will need more cuts in the final third.
Apart from signing forward to a high-quality center, they need a wide range of technically talented players who can take on defenders and beat them in one-on-one situations. Players like Henrique and Mbeumo add unpredictability to Manchester United’s attacking units.
Man United should move to Brian Mbeumo
Now that Manchester United missed Henrique, they should step up their efforts to sign Brentford attackers instead. He was a proven performer in the Premier League and was able to make an immediate impact at Old Trafford.
Manchester United must deal with the flaws in their offensive before the new season begins. Bruno Fernandez is the only reliable performer in the final third and needs more support in offense next season.
As for Henrique, he will make his mark in Serie A and try to win a major trophy with Inter Milan.
