Tottenham Hotspur are looking to improve their attacking line-up and have been linked with a move for Brentford star Kevin Shade.
The 23-year-old has had a good run at Brentford and Thomas Frank knows him well. It would be no surprise if Tottenham were rumored to be in a relationship with the player. It will be interesting to see if they make a move to sign him.
They could use more depth in the final third and the German attacker would add goals, pace and flair to the side. The opportunity to join the north London club could be an exciting one for the player. It will be a step up for him and he will play in the UEFA Champions League and fight for trophies.
Could Tottenham make a move to sign Kevin Shade?
Former Tottenham scout Mick Brown said: “Kevin Shade is someone the manager knows very well.”
“We’ve had him before and worked closely with him, so we know what his strengths and limitations are and how he fits into this Tottenham team.
“So if I think he’s the type of player who can improve the team, I’ll appeal to the club to sign him in January.
“I think Spurs have enough talent out wide, but I don’t think that’s a priority for them.
“But they’re always looking to add more depth and build on what they have.
“If the manager thinks bringing him in will help them be successful and compete at the right end of the table, then that may be what they are looking to do.”
Spurs could use Shade
Players like Dominic Solanke and Richarlison have not been able to live up to expectations since joining the club. Tottenham need more depth on the flanks. If the competition for position becomes even more intense, it is possible that the team’s best potential will be brought out.
Schade also has the versatility to play multiple attacking roles and could be a very useful player for the north London club. He knows how Frank likes to play and will be able to adapt quickly and make an immediate impact.
