Tottenham Hotspur is looking to improve its defense force with the signature of Bournemouth defender Ilia Zabarini.
The 22-year-old is reportedly on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain. Zabarnyi is also linked to Chelsea.
Can Spurs convince Zabarini?
According to RMC Sport, Tottenham is ready to offer 70 million euros to sign players, but Ukrainian International is not keen on the transition to the London club.
He wants to be part of the European champions and it will be interesting to see if PSG can secure an agreement with Cherry. Bournemouth has set a asking price of 70 million euros for the players.
Zabarnyi has been a key player for Bournemouth since joining Bournemouth and there is no doubt that he has the quality to play for a bigger club. The transition to PSG will be an exciting opportunity for him. He aims to regularly compete for major trophies, and the French outfit will allow him to provide that platform.
Meanwhile, Tottenham has been experiencing a period of reconstruction and there is no guarantee that they will win major trophies in the upcoming season.
Illia Zabarnyi wants PSG move
Ukraine International has already agreed to a five-year contract with French costumes.
It remains to be seen whether PSG can currently secure an agreement with Premier League clubs. They are one of the richest clubs in the world and have the resources to complete the transaction. It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds.
Meanwhile, Tottenham could lose Christian Romero this summer. He is tied to movements away from the club. They had to replace him properly, and the 22-year-old Ukrainian might have been an ideal acquisition. He was well settled in the Premier League and was able to make an immediate impact.
