Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace are interested in signing Spanish club Reuben Vargas in the windows of the future.
According to a report by Fichajes, the two clubs were able to make the 27-year-old Swiss International move at the end of the season. Vargas could prove to be a very useful acquisition for both clubs.
Spurs and Villas can use Reuben Vargas
The quality and depth of the sides are required, and Swiss International can be operated on either side. He adds pace, talent and unpredictability. The opportunity to move into the Premier League is also extremely exciting for him.
Tottenham certainly has a more attractive project than Aston Villa, but the 27-year-old needs to join a club where he gets regular opportunities. He should seek a guaranteed game time before committing to a move.
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham has reasonable depth in their attacking units and whether they are ready to offer him regular opportunities. Aston Villa needs more quality in the last third and they can give him more game time.

Where is Vargas?
Both clubs have quality managers, and 27-year-olds can be attracted to the idea of joining them. It will be interesting to see if the two clubs decide to follow up on their interests with their official proposals in January.
If a substantial offer is offered, Sevilla could be tempted to sell the player. Both clubs have resources that exceed their contracts.
The player is at the peak of his career, and this is a good time for him to try new challenges. Moving to England might be ideal for him.
