According to Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur has set a £50 million price tag on right-back Pedro Polo amid growing interest from Manchester City.
Man City is looking for a long-term replacement for Kyle Walker, and they are interested in the moves of former player Polo, who has shined on the side of Anjipost Ecogul this season.
Polo, who had previously signed City in 2019 but never appeared on the first team, has since grown into a key player for Tottenham.
Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy is open to selling polos if the £50 million valuation is met, and could open up the way DJed Spence assumes a right-back position.
The Tottenham Polo ratings fluctuate, with the report showing the previous asking price of £80 million.
However, the current £50 million price tag reflects more affordable numbers for clubs of interest.
The report states that negotiations between clubs will be difficult.
Despite Man City needing a new right-back at the club, they could find it difficult to complete the move of the Tottenham Spanish defender.
Man City wants to invest more money in the squad
After failing to win the league and Champions League this season, Pep Guardiola is determined to spend heavily on the summer transfer window to solve the problems his team is facing.
Not only will Walker be required, but also an alternative to Kevin De Bruin, who announced he would leave the club at the end of the season.
Polo could arrive at Man City this summer if Guardiola’s side raised their interest, but midfielder Jack Grelish was able to set out on a new adventure this summer with a Surprise Premier League club who is interested in signing him.
James McAtee’s future is also uncertain at Etihad Stadium, and young people are looking for more play time, which could lead to a move from the Manchester Club.
