West Ham United defender Knife Aguerdo has linked his move to stay away from the club forever.
Juventus is keen to sign Morocco’s international defender, but will be willing to carry out a swap deal involving Daniel Lugani.
West Ham is not enthusiastic about swap transactions
According to GMS, West Ham doesn’t enjoy the player’s swap moves and wants to sell him for cash as he is trying to win funds for his signature.
It will be interesting to see if the club is willing to sign Aguerd straight into cash this summer.
This summer, West Ham has had a massive departure, with multiple players moving clubs free of charge. West Ham wants to release the wage bill and bring in the funds for quality signatures. It is still unknown how the situation will develop.
Nayef Aguerd is someone in demand
The claim had an impressive season that was loaned out at Real Sociedad, so it will be interesting to see where he ends. Morocco International joins West Ham for a fee of around £30 million and is trying to get most of it back in the summer.
Apart from Juventus, German club Bayer Leverkusen is also monitoring his situation. It would be interesting to see where he ends. He’s definitely a reliable defender. The 29-year-old could prove to be a quality acquisition for most teams.
He has no future in West Ham, and he will soon try to sort out his long-term future. The player is eager to fresh challenges this summer and hopes to complete the transfer quickly so that he can focus on his football again.
West Ham, on the other hand, needs to be tightened at the back, and it will be interesting to see if the defender can be replaced properly. They were extremely vulnerable at back last season and have to sign a quality defender this summer.
