Manchester United manager Reuben Amorim said Benjamin Sesco, who signed Benjamin Sesco this weekend, is ready to play Arsenal.
The Red Devils will launch a new Premier League campaign on Sunday afternoon with a tricky home game against the Gunners.
But Amorim hopes this will be the start of a better season for Man UTD, who has many exciting new signatures that can be fielded in this game.
Sesko is one of them, and the Slovenian international striker has recently been on board from RB Leipzig, but not in time for pre-season matches.
Amorim wasn’t yet clear whether he thinks Sesko can face Arsenal, but he warns his opponent that he’s ready for his new striker.

At today’s press conference, Amorim said: “We didn’t have time, but he’s ready. Physically he’s ready. He’s ready to play. We’ll see if he’ll start.”
United will also welcome previously at the relocation window after Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo have completed their moves from Wolves and Brentford respectively.
However, Arsenal looks pretty sharp with friendly victories over Athletic Bilbao, including Martin Zubimendi and Victor Gyoker.
Can Sesco punish Arsenal after joining United instead?
Sesko was a target for Arsenal, especially at the beginning of the summer, and then ended up signing Gyoker instead.
It will be interesting to see if Sesco can influence MUFC against Mikel Arteta men this weekend.
Gyoker will also definitely be itchy to prove himself at this level after some skepticism that he can repeat the scoring record from the Portuguese League on top flights in the UK.
