Anatoly Mallikin will be trying to regain the heavyweight title he lost earlier this year.
One Championship officially announced that one heavyweight champion Oumar “Reug Reug” Kane would place his title on his title against the very man he took when the promotion returned to Tokyo’s Ariake Arena in 173 on Sunday, November 16th.
Kane claimed the title from Malikin at 169 in November 2024, slightly beating the original three division title holders through a somewhat controversial split decision. “Rougloug” will be riding on the land of the rising sun with five consecutive wins, including a first-round KO with Bouchet Ketchup last summer’s kickboxing debut.
Meanwhile, Malikin is away from the initial loss of his professional career. A close contested loss to Kane not only cost him his unbeaten record, but also ended his reign as the first and only three division champion of the MMA.
While Malikin still holds a light heavyweight title in the middleweight division, “Sludky” focuses on one thing as there is a lack of challengers in those divisions.
Superbon vs. Noiri will be taking part in Malykhin vs. ‘Reug reug’ 2.
The event also announced a unified match between the reign of one featherweight kickboxing world champion Super Bon and interim title holder Masaki Noiri.
In March, Noil shocked the world with Tawanchai’s stunning third round TKO, winning a temporary title and setting the stage for scraps with one of the best P4P kickboxers on the planet.
He is away from his failed attempts to add Muay Thai Gold to his collection, but Super Bon is still one of the most feared fighters in the 8-ounce glove under the One Banner, earning back-to-back victory over Tei Fan Ozkan and former three-time glorious kickboxing champion Marat Grigorian.
