Liverpool has maintained his tab as Monaco’s defender Vanderson and could consider making a move for him at the end of the season.
According to a report from KOP’s Empire, Liverpool’s sports director Richard Hughes is keeping an eye on the Brazilian defender and it remains to be seen whether he has decided to make his offer.
Liverpool needs Vanderson
Trent Alexander Arnold leaves the club at the end of the season and he is expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer. Liverpool is considering alternatives, and they have identified Brazilians as their options.
The 23-year-old has done very well in the French league and he is good enough for the Premier League as well. Aside from his defensive qualities, he was extremely effective in the future and was able to add a new dimension to Liverpool’s offense.
He has also been linked to Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
Brazilians are very convenient
Alexander Arnold is an exception to Liverpool, and he’s more than just a defender. He helped Liverpool create opportunities to gain many goals with his overtaking and vision. Vanderson was able to help them out in the attacks.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will be able to secure an agreement with Monaco for the players. It should not be difficult to convince the Brazilians to join them. He has been described as a very ambitious player in the past and may be tempted to join a big club.
Philip Clement once described him as “a very ambitious and huge perfectionist.”
Liverpool is one of the largest clubs in the world, and they consistently compete for major trophies. They have won the league title this season and will do well in next year’s Champions League. The opportunity to play for them would be difficult to refuse for South America.
