Celtic found himself on the receivers of his second Scottish Premiership defeat in his final three matches on Sunday afternoon.
Hoop was beaten 1–0 by the bottom of the league by St. John Stone, who admitted to Daniels Barodis only four minutes later.
For Brendan Rogers and his part, it was an incredibly frustrating afternoon. They put 26 efforts into the goal, creating two “big opportunities” but were unable to find the backstage of the net once.
The Prime Minister’s leader did not convert the quality opportunities created during the match as the star attackers did not step up to showcase their best abilities.
Daizen Maeda, who has scored 30 goals so far this season and has provided nine assists in all competitions so far, has not created a single teammate chance on the pitch.
Rodgers has made some difficult decisions ahead of his clash with Kilmarnock at Parkhead next weekend, and the star he has to ruthlessly throw away from his team is Wingernicholas Kuhn.
Why should I drop Nicholas Kuhn?
The German forward withdrew from the action at halftime as part of the double replacement after his first half action on the right.
Kuhn left himself in a position where supporters and management teams expected him to be big for his form early in the campaign, earning 18 goals and 14 assists in all competitions.
He established himself as a star performer for the Scottish giants. That’s why it stands out when he’s not at his best, as the team is suffering as a result of his lack of shock.

As you can see in the table above, Kuhn averaged goals, assists and target shots this season in the Premiere, but also did not manage against St. Johnston.
Simply put, we can expect more from the previous Rapid Wien star than he showed in Sunday’s 1-0 defeat, so that’s a disappointing exhibit and why the manager has to drop him for a clash with Kilmarnock.

Rodgers has plenty of options to change the starting lineup, and one alternative to Kuhn is Hyun-Jun Yang.
He’s Improvement and Celtic
The Korean took part in a permanent deal from Gang Wong in the summer of 2023, enduring a difficult first season with the Scottish giants.
Yang ended the 2023/24 campaign with one goal and three assists tally in 31 appearances in all competitions, as he failed to provide many threats at the top end of the pitch.
Given his slight return in front of the goal, it would not have been surprising to see the forward moving out of Parkhead during his transfer period last summer. However, instead of leaving, the 22-year-old ace stayed to fight for the team’s location and won it.

As you can see in the table above, Yang was just as creative as he was in the Premiership last season, but he offers a much more threat as a scorer for Hoops.
Korea International has scored five goals and six assists in 30 matches in all competitions. That is, Winger offers five goals and three assists than he had in the previous term.
Despite obvious improvements from Yang in the final third, it’s Adam Ida who should be taken to replace Kuhn in the starting lineup next weekend.
Why should Adam I Eye be unleashed?
Ireland International should come to depart before the German winger. The left moves heavily on the left side, and Jota moves to the right to 9th place.
Ida’s pace and power began next with a strong show, with St. Johnston getting off the bench and throwing his hat into the ring.
The Irish archer should have supported the equalisation goal when he brilliantly burst the right channel and produced an inch of perfect cross for James Forest.
Having won five out of six duels, Ida finished the 29th minute on the pitch with five shots, one shot, one shot, one dribble was completed, two chances were created, and one “big chance” was created.
These statistics show that talent was influenced from the bench on Sunday towards the heart of former Norwich city, once known by Rogers. So he should be brought in to show that he can do it from the start with Kilmarnock.
The 24-year-old attacker, who scored 14 goals in all competitions, has scored eight goals in 15 starts this season, creating six “big chances.”
Ida’s finish isn’t always enough, and 13 “big chances” have been missed, but he takes off the bench against St. Johnston, causing problems with the opposition defenders in pace and power.
