Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Lyon’s Malic Foffana this summer, but Nottingham Forest is already in their move.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Nottingham Forest has secured an agreement with a French outfit for the players, but they have yet to convince the Belgians of the move.
The journalist added that Chelsea remains “eager” to the 20-year-old attacker. They also face competition from Bayern Munich and Naples. It would be interesting to see where the players are.
Liverpool and Arsenal are also watching. There were rumours that players were tempted by the move to Liverpool.
Bruce must sign Malic Fofana
Lyon has been expelled for financial reasons and could potentially lose multiple players this summer. This is a great opportunity for Chelsea to take away the young talent of the elite, and they should do everything in their power to sign the 20-year-old. Fofana has been highly regarded throughout Europe and has managed to develop into Chelsea’s top player.
They say they need to attack the reinforcements, and signing the Belgians could prove to be a wise decision. He scored 11 goals last season and scored six assists. He is the winger on the right, but is versatile enough to operate on either side. He adds goals and unpredictability to the side.
Chelsea was able to complete the attacking unit
Chelsea will sign Jamie Gittens this summer. They already brought in Liam Dellup. Adding Fofana will complete your attack units in the near future.
The players are reportedly waiting for a Champions League-level club, and Chelsea certainly has an advantage over Nottingham Forest in that regard. It will be interesting to see if they will come forward with an offer to sign players.
If Nottingham Forest can get a deal across the line, it could prove to be a big coup for them.
