Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah remains the subject of interest from the Saudi Professional League. TBR.
The Saudi Pro League wanted to sign Salah in the summer of 2025, but the Egyptian forward has now signed a new contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2027.
However, interest in the former Chelsea star has not disappeared, with the Saudi Professional League still willing to pay Salah £150m a year.
Journalist Graham Bailey said: “Mo Salah’s relationship with the professional league will never go away, but he doesn’t want it. He will go to Saudi Arabia at some point.”
“Saudi Arabia’s offer for Salah is open and I can confirm that he can sign him whenever he wants.
“They’re not talking to him right now, they’re not talking to him or Liverpool about a January contract. There’s really no need to do that. They’ll be ready when he comes.”
