After a short year off, two-time Masters Champion Scotty Schaeffler recreated his obligation to curate the Masters Club dinner on the Champions Menu.
The dinner, served in honor of the tournament’s defending champion, dates back to 1952, when Ben Hogan held dinner for past winners. Dinner is only for Masters Champions, with club president Fred Ridley being invited as an honorary guest.
Schaeffler – After a 4-under 68 card in the final 18 holes, he finished at 11 under in the tournament, winning his second green jacket after beating Swedish rudig’s end with a four-stroke.
Club members begin by enjoying an assortment of appetizers consisting of cheeseburger sliders, firecracker shrimp, meatballs and ravioli bites. It then moves Texas-style Chile to the East Feast, followed by a main course of cowboy ribeye or blackened reddhish.
For dessert? Warm chocolate chips frying pan cookies and vanilla bean ice cream await.

The above offering is far from the Spanish flavour of the 2024 menu curated by John Lahm (including Guernica Pepper, Gildas and Lentil Stew), but Eagle’s eye golf fans may have noticed an impressive similarity this year’s lineup when Schaeffler hosted it in 2023.

Hey, if it’s not broken, don’t fix it. …It makes us wonder about the tortilla soup.
