Welterweights Sean Brady and Michael Morales are scheduled to throw down in a welterweight bout scheduled for Nov. 15 at UFC 322 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Brady, who has won three straight, including a submission win over former champion Leon Edwards in his last fight, could reach title contention with one more win in his next fight. The Philadelphia native has only tasted defeat once in his career, against future champion Belal Muhammad in 2022, but has since gotten back on track with a recent winning streak.
He will face a tough test in November from undefeated prospect Michael Morales, who currently has a perfect 16-0 record in the UFC, including six straight wins. The UFC announced the fight Wednesday morning.
Morales, 26, looks like a future star in the UFC after recent performances in which he defeated four of his six opponents in the Octagon, including dominant knockouts over Gilbert Burns and Neil Magny.
Morales will face Brady, currently one of the top grapplers in the division with six submission wins and three knockouts.
Brady vs. Morales joins the lineup at UFC 322, with Jacques de la Maddalena defending his welterweight title against Islam Makhachev in the main event and Valentina Shevchenko facing Weili Zhang in a flyweight title bout.
