Sean Brady tears Colby Covington: "When was the last time a man won a fight?"

Sean Brady is now powerful.

At UFC London, Brady won the biggest victory of his career, submitting former welterweight champion Leon Edwards in the fourth round of the main event. Not only was someone stopping Edwards the first time, but the victory also took Brady to No. 1 in the UFC welterweight rankings, putting him right next to the title shot. And when you’re in such a position, all of a sudden you become much more popular with other fighters.

Talk about him Bradybazz The podcast, Brady, is no. We talked about how life is different as a candidate for 1.

“I was trying to get the Battle of (Kamal) Usman for months,” Brady said. “I cornered him, I hit him, now now He says, “Me and Brady should fight for their first choice.” Ah, should I do? ! I defeated the man who has defeated you twice! ”

Kamal Usman isn’t just a fighter who suddenly has an interest in Brady. Brady also took the time to take a shot with former interim champion Colby Covington, who had no interest in matchups before Brady defeated Edwards.

“The same thing as (Covington),” Brady said. “I’ve been looking for that fight for a long time, the UFC told me, ‘This guy sucks.’ I saw him, my brother told me he said to me, “I never saw him being beaten by a Beral. Brother, you just told me you’ve never seen one of my fights, but you saw me be beaten by a Beral, so what are you talking about?

“He’s this high-level wrestler, but his buddy, Leon, has defeated you many times and beat you shit out of you. Do you see what I did to Leon? What will I do to you?

“Colby, you are ap*ssy. How do you get (Jorge) Masvidal to be punched publicly and sue him? You are ap*ssy. You are an profighter.”

The No. 1 contender spots are usually as good as the title shots, but the welterweight title photos are a bit confusing at the moment. Champion Beral Muhammad was to defend his title against undefeated Shabkat Rakmonov at UFC 310 this December, but injuries drove him out of the match. Rakmonov stayed on the card and defeated Ian Machado Garry, but suffered his own injury during a match where he was unable to use him.

Currently, Muhammad defended the title against Jacques de Ra Maddarena in the main event of UFC 315 on May 10th, and it is unclear who will get the next crack at the winner of that fight. If Brady gets it, otherwise Philadelphia’s pride says he’s the number one contender or nothing in his next game.

“You can either fight the winner or loser, either, either, whether I’m fighting for the belt. “I’m really not leaning towards anyone. But me and Beral have this story and it’s a very good story. It’s clearly the best scenario. He’ll get out there and beat Jack in May and he’ll fight for the belt towards the end of the year.

“I’m just going to fight the winners and losers of the Sherkat or Belt. There’s no one else. I’m number one. Shabkat is second. If that’s what the UFC wants to do, Usman is appealing. He’s a former champion.
