Sean Strickland believes Bryce Mitchell needs to talk to someone.
Earlier this month, Mitchell was speechless at the UFC 314 press event after his next opponent, Jean Silva, constantly slashed him and untook the “bad thugs” about his belief that the earth is flat.
Mitchell was undoubtedly furious, but things took a strange turn earlier this week. The outspoken featherweight claimed that Silva was owned by a “legged devil” and cursed him with a demonic dream that attempted to deceive his wife.
Trust us, it will become even more crazy than that.
Therapy will “perform wonders” for Bryce Mitchell
Silva had some things to say in response to Mitchell’s latest insanity, but Sean Strickland actually came to the defense of his friend and had an incredibly measured response to all the chaos.
“I’d like to not let me hold this.
Much of the focus lies in Mitchell’s non-octagon attitude, but the fact remains that “thugs are 8-2 under the UFC banner, with the only losses occurring against former featherweight title holders Ilia Topria and Josh Emmett. Mitchell won two of his final three, including a unanimous decision against Dan Ige and a third knockout against Kron Gracie on his final outing at UFC 310.
But what’s as impressive as Mitchell sometimes saw is that he’s never faced anyone with as many victories as Jean Silva.
“Lord” knocked out all the enemies in the Octagon, bringing him 12 career costumes against a total of 15 victory. Adding two wins via submissions, Silva has an incredible 93% finishing rate.
Mitchell only lost twice in his career, but in both cases he ended up on the far inside.
