    • Tuesday’s Champions League double

As European elite club tournaments return on Tuesday night, Champions League stacking schedules are piled up from all over the continent.

There will be nine European showdowns on Tuesday as Premier League Giants Liverpool and Chelsea Steel Centre stage.

Before it became a delicious evening of Champions League action, we have seen some of the most interesting betting markets available.

20:00Atletico Madrid vs Eintrak Frankfurt

Atletico Madrid may have been running a new campaign in the midst of a public struggle, but Diego Simeone’s men certainly have been around the real corner last week. They introduced a famous performance in home soil over the weekend as they were hit by a sensational 5-2 victory over arch rival Real Madrid, and the hosts on Tuesday won their previous two LA La Liga showdowns with a tally score of 8-4. The Spanish heavyweight may have shown some extended defensive issues so far this season, but Atletico has found a considerable clinical advantage in the final third. Despite moving on to the Champions League adventures in a final 3-2 defeat at Liverpool on September 17, the Simeone team registered at least a pair of goals in four of their previous five appearances across all competitions. Atletico also has a second consecutive Larlie Garriga victory since mid-April.

Aintrak Frankfurt, who made real history last season when he secured a bronze medal finish among German elites, enjoys the start of this roller coaster. Dino Topmuller’s side has certainly gained a reputation for their action-packed showdown, with their claims of immediate response over the weekend, as they ultimately scored a 6-4 victory pulsating at Borussia Monchegladbach. The Eagles opened their respective Champions League adventures on September 18th with dominant displays. Frankfurt cruises the path to the amazing 5-1 romp with Galatasaray and asks some serious questions here. However, it should be noted that, along with shipping quartets of goals for consecutive Bundesliga appearances over the past week, Toppmoller’s camp has also conceded 12 goals in four previous outings.

20:00 Marseille vs Ajax

Marseille may have gone on their respective Champions League adventures at 2-1 Spanish icon Real Madrid two weeks ago, but the hosts on Tuesday showed no signs of a hangover. Roberto de Zerbi’s men scored the famous 1-0 victory over bitter domestic rivals and governing European champions PSG, earning all of the past three consecutive League One appearances with a 7-1 total score. The former Brighton boss, who marked his return from an international break in September with a 4-0 routine against Lorient, has seen his team gain a real reputation for success in his hometown soil. Marseille won all three first three showdowns at Stade Velodrome 10-2, including an August 23rd victory over League One debutant Paris FC. De Zerbi’s subordinates also suffer one defeat in front of their supporters within 90 minutes within this calendar year.

Ajax is undergoing an incredible amount of scrutiny at summer intervals as last season’s infamous collapse suffered and they were not dragged into the 37th domestic crown significantly. The Dutch giants may have claimed a 2-1 victory at home against Nac Breda over the weekend, but John Heitinga’s side couldn’t find any kind of stability. The European campaign began with a 2-0 defeat at home against finalist Intermilan last year, and guests on Tuesday have not been able to record back-to-back wins since launching the 2025/26 campaign. In fact, continuing from last season, Ajax has also not been able to notch consecutive victories in any competition since mid-April. Faced with a rigorous exam here, the former Liverpool coach has a real headache over his extended defensive struggle on his part. Convened one clean sheet from one of the last seven outings, Ajax is penciled in as the landslide weaker mid-week.
