The Wolves are reportedly set up to strongly pursue a transfer contract to bring Connor Cody back to the club from Leicester City this summer.
The 32-year-old centre-back is scheduled to close his contract next summer, but it is already said in this year’s window that he will be able to leave Leicester.
And it appears that Wolves are looking to move to get Cody back to Molineux in becoming a popular deal of former fans.
That’s what’s currently being reported about Coady’s future, according to Sky Sports, quoted by a cast of soccer fans.
Will Conor Cody return to the wolf?
Leicester’s relegation certainly means there will be a lot of changes to the team at King Power Stadium this summer, and it appears to be giving the wolves the opportunity.
The report adds that wolves can attempt to sign Cody on a contract worth £75,000 a week.
If they can pull it off, it could be a smart business to start their summer.
A difficult transfer window beyond the wolf?
The Wolves got off to a difficult start to the summer after losing Matthews Kuña to Manchester United and Rayan Ait Nouri to Manchester City.
There was also speculation that manager Vitor Pereira was seduced by the vacant Benfica job.
If the wolves don’t get the correct signature right away, they can participate in the highly challenging 2025/26 season.
