On Sunday, the Cavs were at home for Game 1 of the meeting semi-finals vs. The Pacers. They didn’t have an All-Star PG Darius Garland due to a toe injury. Not only did Cleveland lose Game 1, but several players have been injured. Evan Mobley (ankle) and De’andre Hunter (Thumb) are doubtful to play in Game 2 on Tuesday night.

In the latest episode of the Hoope Collective Podcast, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst talked about Darius Garland’s toe injury. Windy is called Garland’s injury to toe, and that’s not a good sign. Especially if the playoffs are already round. It may be. Garland is out for Game 2 on Tuesday.
First year All-Star Evan Mobley suffered a sprain in his left ankle in the game-one-to-pacer. He said it happened when he tried to hook shots of Miles Turner and was wrong with his ankle. Mobley is listed as suspicious in Game 2 vs Indiana. He started 71 of the Cavs’ 82 games during the regular season. Additionally, one of Cleveland’s key role players is listed as suspicious.
De’andre Hunter dislocated his thumb in Game 1 on Sunday. Pacers’ Benedict Matlin blocked the shot, and Hunter injured his thumb in a violent fall to the ground. All signs refer to the availability of Hunter in Game 2. After losing Game 1 at home, the Cavs will need to win Game 2 on Tuesday night. They can’t afford to go down 2-0 on a crude playoff team like Pacer. Will Cleveland be able to return on Tuesday, and even in the series vs. Indiana?
