Los Angeles superstar Shohai Otani is no match for anyone in major league baseball.

Otani, often referred to as the sports unicorn, has signed a $700 million landmark deal for a decade than the 2024 season. His inauguration season with the featured only one side of Otani when he recovered from UCL surgery.
Otani’s role as the ‘ designated batsman last season was not disappointing. He had one of the most dominant offensive seasons ever as he scored career-highs on home runs, hits, scores, run, doubles, and stolen bases.
Otani opened 50 home runs, 50 stolen base clubs, finishing the year with 54 home runs and 59 stolen bases. He won the first World Series of his career and was unanimously named the most valuable player in the National League.
In 2025, Otani appears to be returning to full form as he is working to join the ‘ rotation as a starting pitcher. The two-way star’s pitching debut remains a hot topic of conversation across the baseball industry.
