When asked whether the match going to the final session escalated tensions between India and Britain, Shubman Gill dismissed the idea. He said there were no feelings that were inherited from his previous encounter.
“Not so. Once the game is over, I want to move on to the next game and be competitive and play as much as I can,” Gill said.
“For us, what happened in the last game doesn’t really matter. Nothing happened in the last game, and we want to do our best in the next game,” he added.
