Shy Gilgaus Alexander admitted that Nuggets’ Game 1 loss was worried that he would enter Game 2.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have surprisingly lost Game 1 of the Second Round Series to the Denver Nuggets. Despite playing from home, the Nuggets were able to steal the victory from OKC.
It was a great outing for the Nuggets, who came in with weaker teams and tired feet to get a win after Game 7. Nikola Djokic has won praise from fans for his performance.
Entering Game 2, the Thunder had to make a statement and get a big win. And what a statement they made, winning by 43 points.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was a different manufacturer of Thunder, so he impressed fans with his 34-point performance. But as they headed into the game, he and Thunder were concerned.

The reporter asked Shy Gilgauss Alexander about the pressure he and the Thunder headed for Game 2.
Shy admitted that he and Thunder realized how important a Game 2 victory at home was, but they were not stressed about the potential permutation of losses.
“For me, I try not to turn it into a streak of winnings throughout the regular season, even if I lose a game, that’s how I move towards the season.
“In the playoffs, it’s obviously even harder to win on the road. Losing two people at home makes it a worse place. You lose all the benefits of a home court completely.”
“But it definitely lies in your mind, but regardless of what happened, you have to focus on what you can control. Last year, Denver lost two people at home, Minnesota lost two people at home, their series ended up being seven, and it was crazy.”
“At the end of the day, we don’t know what the series will look like. We need to worry about the next game and make it better.”
