Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek are bet favourites to enter the 145th US Open starting Sunday in New York.
Defending champion Thinner was listed at +105 on Sunday and won the men’s singles title at ESPN BET. Rival Carlos Alkaraz is followed by +180, followed by Novak Djokovic at +1200. +2000 Ben Shelton has the highest odds among Americans in male draws.
Sinner and Alcaraz explain the final seven major titles. Thinner won the last three majors played on the hard court. He retired to Alcaraz last week, 5-0 in the first set of the final at the Cincinnati Open.
Recently, Swiatek moved on to his favorite role on the female side ahead of defending champion Aryna Sabalenka, but that’s close. Swiatek was listed at +250 on Sunday on ESPN BET, while Sabalenka was just behind +280. Swiatek had not won a WTA title in more than a year before finding her form at Wimbledon.
Coco Gauff had the shortest odds for American women of +800 at ESPN BET, followed by Madison Keys (+1800), Amanda Anisimova (+2200) and Jessica Pegula (+2800). Pegra lost to Sabalenka in straight sets at last year’s US Open Finals.
