French winger Louis Bealey was selected for the Six Nations player championship on Tuesday after his team scored eight tries to win the tournament.
The 21-year-old set the most try record to score in one championship during his Six Nations era, surpassing the seven marks held by Ireland’s Jacob Stockdale since 2018.
Bielle-Biarrey insisted the majority of the fan vote from a list of nominees including England’s Tommy Freeman, Scotland Fullback Blair Kinghorn and last year’s championship player Tommaso Menoncello of the Italian Centre.
“My parents signed up for rugby when I was five. I immediately really loved it. It’s a childhood dream today that I can live my passion today,” said Bealle Baiary.
France claimed the seventh Six Nations Trophy with a 35-16 victory over Scotland on March 16, finishing with 21 points, England moving ahead one point.
